Terms & Conditions:

  • Applicant must posses one of the following qualifications:
    • a minimum 4 GCE ‘O’ level credits in two (2) sittings OR
    • recognised Diploma from local polytechnics (NYP/NP/SP/TP/RP) OR
    • recognised Degree from local universities (NUS/NTU/SMU/SUTD) OR
    • recognised Master National ITE Cert (Master Nitec) / Higher National ITE Cert (Higher Nitec) OR
    • Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Assessment Level 5 in Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening & Numeracy
  • Private or foreign qualifications are subjected to CEA approval prior to course registration. Please click to DOWNLOAD  CEA Educational Qualification Assessment Form.
  • Application will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis with payment.
  • Certificate of Completion will be issued ONLY if the course participant has achieved at least 75% FULL ATTENDANCE (sign in & out at the end of each lesson) of the course.
  • Be at least 21 years of age at the time of registering with CEA.
  • Original Certificates and Front & Back of NRIC/Passport must be produced together with the application form.
  • The Course Fee DOES NOT include Examination Fees.
  • In the event of a returned cheque, an additional administrative fee of S$20.00 shall be levied.
  • An admin fee of S$30.00 will be imposed for any cancellation within 5 working days after registration, afterwhich a penalty fee of 50% of the course fee will be imposed. Stirctly NO REFUND for withdrawal upon commencement of course for whatever reasons received.
  • Only basic lecture notes are provided for the course. From time to time, individual lecturers may provide additional reading materials (including online materials) out of goodwill without any additional charges.
  • All course or program materials and copies all remain the sole intellectual property of IEA. No part of the course materials shall be reproduced without permission in any form. Audio and/or video recordings of the lecturers are strictly prohibited.
  • There will be NO makeup lesson for missed lesson.
  • The Institute reserves the rights to cancel, change or postpone the course. Full refund will be made in the event of course cancellation.
  • UTAP Eligibility : Please refer to the U Associate Programme for the Terms & Conditions on the eligibility for the UTAP Claim.



**  Please be informed that attending the RES Course and passing the RES Exam do not automatically qualify an individual to be a real estate salesperson. The applicant has to comply with the full registration requirements stipulated under the Estate Agents Act, Which include meeting the fit & proper criteria. Please check the complete list of registration criteria @  before registering for the RES course.

** For Foreigners who wish to register with CEA as salespersons, they will need to have a valid Employment Pass (EP) issued by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) to work in the real estate agency industry. They should consult an estate agent that is prepared to support their future registration application, who would then check with CEA. Thereafter, when they register for the RES course, they will need to produce a letter of support from the estate agent
